The GC Knockout finally got underway after the first round was delayed because of wet weather.
On Sunday 15 October Rangiora beat St Martins 14 games to 3.
The other round 1 match between Fendalton Park and Holmes Park is being played Tuesday 17 October.
Cashmere and Hornby will be playing in round 2 scheduled for Sunday 22 October.

As a result of withdrawals and consequent rearrangements, both the AC Interclub draw and the Johnson Draw were changed on 26 September 2017.
A further change to a phone number in the Tuesday AC Interclub and the Yellow Block of the Johnson was made 4 October 2017.

The annual interprovincial between Canterbury and South Canterbury was played at the Waireka Croquet Club in Ashburton on Sunday 1 October 2017. Four doubles pairs played three rounds. Each AC game was two hours, stopping on the bell. The winner is the team with the most total points.
Canterbury won 193 to 178. The individual game scores are below.
