2020 Maud Trainor

Golf Croquet
The 2020 Maud Trainor was played at United on four Friday mornings from 31st January till the 28th February.  Generally the weather was fine making this relaxed competition with a one hour, handicap Golf Croquet game followed by morning tea and a second game particularly enjoyable.  The flexible Swiss format allowed drawn games and the ability to miss two of the eight games but still be a prize winner.
Lynne Bretherton of our generous sponsor the Margaret Stoddart Retirement Village presented the prizes.  The unbeaten Peter Entwhistle was the winner with John Borner second and Galina Worley third.
